Pet ownership creates opportunities for SO much amusement and aggravation. The aggravating side includes things like the cat peeing on the Persian rug (which required us have the rug professionally cleaned and then cover it with tarp like we're hillbillies or something). So, those goats being deployed along the bike path who were destroying elderberry groves along with the brush they were supposed to be eating? I ratted them out to the people who manage the parkway, who were extremely grateful. The animal supplier will be restricting the goats better, and maybe substituting sheep in some areas. Our daughter is back at college after a nice month off. It was hard to let her go, as that is the longest we will see her for a year.

It's just stupid-hot here right now, and today's bike ride was fairly miserable. I hate biking near my office anymore. There's no shade, and it's also about 3-7 degrees hotter than near my house. Double-fail. :(
